I love this idea. It reminds me of a buffet I once went to. The buffet was all you can eat, but any food waste was weighed and charged per unit on top of the all you can eat price. Such a brilliant idea considering at all you can eat buffets people tend to have bigger eyes than stomachs. It forces you to take smaller portions so that you are only taking what you can actually consume.

There is a sushi place I sometimes go to that offers an “all you can eat”, basically unlimited sushi, however, they charge you like one dollar for every roll you waste
