React Native with Arduino

This project is to demo a Payment method design that with users in mind.

Customers will be able to pay for the drink with their smartphone (something like PayWave and ApplePay).

In this scenario, customers will interac with the QR Codes act as the drink.

Essentially we are trying to promote an idea whereby physical note will no longer be needed as transactions can all be done digitally with IoT devices.

Board: Arduino Uno with HC-05
React Native stacks as follow:

-react-native-bluetooth-serial
-stream
-iconv-lite

Will open source the repo once the project is submitted.

Why not NFC? I just need to proof the concept to my professor, Bluetooth is much easier and quicker to develop 🙃

Is it possible to scan QR to make payment without Arduino?
