Recently lost my grandma, my family doesn't talk to me. I've been on my own for 6 years and I'm 25 years old. I just went through a breakup and I live 3, 000 miles away from anybody that's a blood relative. I felt like giving up tonight, just walking out of my job, getting rid of my house, sacrificing everything because I'm suffering from severe depression and I don't have health insurance and I don't have a therapist... but I turn you on ET and it rewires my mind. I'm just going through the heat, and the pressure, and I've been cut...I'm just becoming a diamond.

On August 13th I have a hearing for custody of my son. Unfortunately I won't be able to see him till September I pray to God it can be sooner than that. RN He's one and 9 months. NEVER will I EVER give up on my baby!! Thank you for all the motivation !! On Father's day I wasn't even able to see my son because she wasn't letting me and hasn't let me since my mistake I made. Because of Covid-19 the court's were closed and now I have mediation after my hearing and I'm the petitioner in our son's custody case. I just want to be able to raise my son & to support him. I missed his first crawl, first words, first steps, first birthday, first of many things. But I have GOD by my side & I can't give up. The system is horrible on father's. Especially the ones who fight for custody. I pray to God one day soon it can all be equal so no one can suffer like I did. Thank you all for your support ❤️

When my daughter was going into her senior year in high school she told me “dad, don’t let me get my degree before you do.” That really hit me in the chest. I’ve attempted to complete my undergrad at least 3 times in the past 25 years. I took the challenge from my daughter seriously. I’m now a 47 year old junior in college and my daughter is a 19 year old sophomore. My plan is to complete my undergrad then complete my masters. I now realize that it’s not about the degree. It’s about the academic example and baseline that I set for my children and who I am becoming during this process.
