hi leif.. this is chuck from the old commodore group in cincinnati ohio. we used to have the 4c at the old drawbridge inn which is now a empty lot with just the parking lots and foundations. if yiu dont remember me I was the guy that most of the time came with SIX, who also wrote a hayse imulator. I am guessing if six goes to the chicago show this yeat i might go again..

From what I have read in Leif's BBS Server Guide (Appendix A), a special null modem cable/adapter (TelBBS) should be used for higher speeds (9600 and above?) and yet you are able to use 38.4kbps with a straight null modem cable. In fact, the guide actually advises against using a plain null modem cable (unless for lower speeds). Odd that it is working fine for you.
