Compaq Proliant ML370 - Hardware Intro

We're taking a short break from car videos! Too windy to work on them.

You are now looking at the beginning of the Windows NT 4.0 Domain I've been gathering parts for. This is just a brief hardware overview and some parts installs for this Compaq Proliant ML370 5U server that I plan on using as my main Domain Controller/Terminal Server (still deciding). Surprisingly HPE's site still has all the drivers for this system from NT 4 to 2003 and I plan on making good use of them!

I've always wanted to operate a domain from each era of hardware from NT to Server 2008. So now it begins!

As the server sits now:

- Dual 2.8Ghz Xeon SL6VN, Hyper-Threaded Processors
- 12GB of DDR2100R ECC Memory (6 x 2GB 266Mhz)
- Compaq Smart Array 5300 PCI-X SCSI Card
- Generic IDE CD Drive
- Quantum DDS-4 SCSI Tape Drive 20GB/40GB
