Theta Guardian Node Rewards ON GOOGLE REVIEW
How to Unstake Theta Guardian Node AND 1 MONTH STAKING REVIEW

So, I ran a Theta Guardian Node on Google Cloud Platform for a month. This is how it went.

We will take a look on the ROI on running your own node on Google and whether it’s worth it. We’ll also do some basic math to see how many Theta must be staked in order to be profitable with this strategy or how much price needs to be at in order to be profitable staking X Theta.

If you want to see how much you should earn from Theta Guardian Node staking, this is it – don’t miss this video.

I have been running a guardian and an elite edge from a residence for a while . I bought an engineering workstation 24 core dual Xeon chip 256 Gb ram, 1 terra byte ssd, on high speed fiber specifically to support the theta blockchain and the community.Theta has been improving as it goes. It seems to be learning how to use the resources. It can be a cpu pig, the xeons are 1.9’s can run much higher temps than other xeons. They can naturally overclock or run at much higher speeds than rated and both chips perform at 108% of ratings routinely without issue. It clocks at 3.08 sustained during high demand. Theta knows how and when to use the cpus, I can be running multiple nodes of each simultaneously, It isn’t an issue other than the cooling fans whine. Memory, it only would use about 6 gb and still uses it sparingly never more than about 12 gb, it doesn’t use the ssd fully either, nor the bandwidth, but it seems to be learning or increasing with time, it may be my area and local adoption. The ROI for me is not so great. I don’t have enough staked and everything contracted so payment doesn’t cover its cable and power bill, not to say it isn’t better for you. I have been accumulating more trading it. Many Theta stakers have invested in these “Godzilla Class Servers” there are a lot of them 20+ cores that give elite nodes the power to stream today’s demands. Theta is a great ecosystem with a lot of advantages. It doesn’t make much sense to stake to cloud services. Running dedicated nodes at home isn’t for everyone either. Staking to a home computer is still the best option, the roi isn’t that great right now but that can change. Just putting in my comments and real world experience, not financial advice.

lol. If you've got 2k Theta and the $255 to pay for 1 month of AWS, take that 255 and buy a DELL system on payments of $25/month. Then, plug in the new system and run the GN code. 70 Tfuel/month. @ current price 20 cents, you're making about $14 a month. If Tfuel gets above ~35 cents, you're more than breaking even. Meanwhile, you've got access to a computer and it's offsetting it's cost. ... Whatever you do, do NOT use AWS!

That's why I just run my own node. My computer is on all day anyway.

What about running a node on Gpool? Is that more cost effecient? I have been running one there for over a year but I actually don't know what there fees are.

Buy a cheap desktop from Dell for $125, download the node program and click install.
Simple as that. Right now it's a wash as far as profit but when Tfuel goes up ∆ in value.. boom!

Is anyone actually buying enough tdrop to receive free nft's? It requires 100, 000 tdrop

If you believe in Theta, better off probably just buying a bag of Theta to hodl than investing in hardware and electricity that might or might not net you more theta than you would of had had u just bought a Theta bag.
This is the problem.
You need a but load of Theta to stake to run the nodes to make it worthwhile.
and
The hardware and electrical costs invested, will probably not make you more Theta than if you had just spent that money you spent on hardware on a HODL bag of Theta / Tfuel.
The price of Theta would have to be much higher to make it worth it .... 5 $ Tfuel maybe
TFuel is like 4.8 Cents atm... I mean for 3k you would spend on servers and electricity, you could buy 60, 000 Tfuel, which is like Mining 164 Tfuel A
If TFuel hits ATH of 60 cents ish again thats 98$ bucks a day in returns just for holding a bag of Tfuel.... kinda no brainer.

Did you say that t fuel is worth $2.22 at the 6:02 mark

Why would you run it on Google cloud? This video was a waste of time except to show people they should run their own node at home
