What the heck is the difference between a 60 cell and 72 cell solar panel? And why should you care?

In this video, I will explain the differences between the two standard configurations of large solar panels. 60 cell panels are sometimes called grid tied panels and 72 cell panels are called off grid panels or battery charging panels. There are size and voltage differences between the two and I'll explain why.

Pls is better to have 2 40v 72cell panels in series to charge a 24v battery bank or 3 40v 72 cell panels in serious, is there any more advantages to go up in voltage

Great series you are doing. Short and regular. Each answers a question. Maybe you could number each video with a EPxxx so you can refer to them in other videos and are easy for use to find?

The battery voltage matching sounds reasonable. But, what's special about "13" 60-cell panels in series (390v)? You can archive about the same with "11" 72-cell panels in series (396v).

What if I have a 12V Deep cycle battery, then what panel do i need?

60 cell panel fits perfectly for Offgrid 24V system or 48V system (2 in series) using PWM controller.
72 cell panels have no advantages.
