We've come a long way in our development of an automated paint defect inspection system. The SMARTInspect and Repair system is the lowest cost inline automated inspection and robotic paint defect repair system that has AI/Deep Learning algorithms for defect classification. The defect locations will be automatically sent to the robots, which robotically sand and polish the spot repairs without manually programming them. Other solutions from Micro Epsilon and ISRA (which are great for certain applications) require robot for the inspection process which is typically higher price and requires costly conveyor modifications.
