Oh, that is a terrible behaviour! He should have a hefty fine, charged with assault and banned from cruising again. Thank you, Jason!

The bigger the ship, the bigger the logistic problems. Port facilities, embarkation and debarkation, port access, restocking and availability of ports to name a few.

"At what point do these ships become too big?" They already have.

ะะฒั‚ะพั€

With more and more ports wanting to cut back on cruise passengers seems crazy to make more and more of those mega ships!โ€ฆ thanks for all the newsy videos! ๐Ÿ˜Š

B - Iโ€™d wait until all the little challenges are ironed out.

I'm SO glad to see your channel keeps growing!!!
POOR Sitka. They can't seem to catch a break.

Cโ€”sort of. In 1983, we took our very first cruise on RCโ€™s Song of America to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. SOA was brand new and had only sailed a couple of times before our trip. It was fabulous.

have never sailed on an inaugural and don't really have a desire to. :) It's like the first computer program to come out from microsoft...wait for the updates. lol

B. No, and I donโ€™t plan on ever cruising on an inaugural cruise. Iโ€™d rather wait until the kinks are worked out!

My wife and I sailed on the inaugural sailing on the Princess Ruby. Service was very poor and no one seemed to know what they should be doing. I made a complaint about something and the reply was "Hey we're new, give us a break." Never again, no Princess or inaugural cruises.

They are already too big. Iโ€™ll never set foot on one. Weโ€™ll stick to Seabourn.

B- we donโ€™t go on inaugural cruises because there are too many Issues need to be ironed out and you just donโ€™t get the full experience of the cruise.

B. On our 25th anniversary we took a Panama Canal cruise on a ship that was celebrating its 25th anniversary. Pure coincidence. It was a Royal Caribbean ship that has long since been scrapped.
We just celebrated 55.

A yes went on Eurodams . Several minor glitches but not enough to not go on another inaugural. Each of our ports on that trip had nice welcome event, a costumed group with a herald welcoming ceremony. We had a church open their community room with free cookies and lemonade. Several street corners of the port had young people playing a violin ( just to entertain not begging)

I've done a preview event. I was on the preview for Utopia of the Seas.

B No. For 2 reasons.
First it is more expensive.
Second not everything is working or open.
For me I dont need to be on a brand new ship.
Thank you.

A. Carnival Panorama December 2019. It was a wonderful cruise.

B-no. I donโ€™t think I really want to ever go on an inaugural either. The way I look at it that first waking is like buying a new car in its first model year or first year of a new generation, there are always bugs & kinks that need to be worked out. Also, from what Iโ€™ve seen you pay a premium to be on that first sailing and the only real benefit is you get to say you were first but nothing really tangible.

kenyattaclay
ะะฒั‚ะพั€

B No! All of the ship facilities are not always fully functioning the first few cruises.
