There is no product from the Lego company they lose money in. Even the sets that sell very poorly is still a profit

i just started to get into mocs. i use 16 x 16 plate for making stuff and make it about 6 bricks tall with 1 plate on top so i can make a huge wall of them little i guess apartments

Thats a good list for sourcing pieces. What i usually do for fun Moc-Challenges falls in the Alternative Build Category, where i take one Set and try building something else with those pieces at hand.
Also great for getting pieces are some stores that have bulk lego and sell it by weight (i have a few local ones), so you just go there through the bins -some are pre-sorted by color, which is nice- and pick out what you need. Obviously those are all used and mostly not in the best condition, so you'll find yellowed, broken and dirty pieces and the clean-up process after the buy is part of it

Great video! Been using bricklink but I think I'm gonna try the pick a brick near me soon after watching this. Also, you are half right. Lego is losing out on profit, but they aren't losing money. Just thought I'd come to your defense!

God the sets from 00s and 10s is what I long for the biggest one I ever had as a kid was the Endor base I absolutely loved it everytime I went to my dads (divorced parents lol) I was playing the heck outta that thing also had the big ole police station/ jail the memories, and not to mention the og Lego games I can go on and on about the nostalgia trip. Thats sorta why I’m getting back into Lego just with moc building, since I have a steady job (legos so expensive), and just need some more life in my game room and it’s just a great way of doing that

Thank you for your videos. I buy lego bulk from marketplace. Most sets are missing 2-3 pieces but I find some rare stuff and it’s cheaper than buying new or brinklink

I've been using brick link, and love it.

Yknow what, after finding out I cannot complete the clone wars republic gunship set from goodwill, I don’t think it’ll hurt to use it for scrap parts

Also thanks for letting me know about the little discount you get from bringing your own Lego container back

I've had some amazing garage sale lego tubs, and won some massive lego eBay auctions. I love castlesand I can probably make my money back selling all the city/bionical

When you take apart a set, do you add all the parts individually to your collection? Or keep the unique pieces separate?
