Pentatonix were guests of The Talk on 12/18/12 and spread holiday cheer with a live performance of "Carol of the Bells" from their Christmas EP "PTXmas."

I've seen a couple of comments regarding Mitch and his breathing. It's far from his doing it in very few breaths. He simply knows exactly where he takes a singers breath. Meaning it's a split second intake of air, on a place in the lyrics that allows such. There is one very obvious intake of air because I think he made a mistake, but throughout the whole song there are these split second pauses in his tone, those are the breaths.

He does it very well, I really like it. I just thought I'd explain cause a lot of people seem confused :p

Watching this almost 10 years later after just watching their rendition from 2021, it's absolutely astonishing how much Mitch's breath control has developed in a decade. They've always been fantastic, but it really showcases the incredible refinement they've done over the last 10 years. Such amazing artists.
