Your farm will be really, really loud once those tadpoles turn into frogs 😅

Oh that's so cool to see you have more than one species setting up in there.
As a sidenote, Abby looks very interested in toys.

That's absolutely AWESOME Morgan! Nature reclaiming any space that they can get into or onto!. God bless you, your animals, and the wildlife that you share your land with. Have a great week!

This is AWESOME. People who build ponds and welcome native animals like amphibians are doing Mother Nature a huge favor. Habitat is shrinking rapidly but you are helping bolster the shrinking habitat by providing a protected one.

I could watch an hour of pond footage! I love this! Youll have to do another in a few weeks or a month and show us how its evolved!

that's great! I have been trying to turn my small lawn from grass to wildflowers. Seeing more birds, bugs, and ground critters. I have a small "bird" bath that everyone visits, but would love a baby pool sized pond .
First time seeing a video today. The one about weight loss. The algorithm must sense my new treadmill, lol.

And if you want, you can allow your pond to progress naturally. Overtime sediment will build up and it will turn into a bog, and eventually very fetile land.

The book "Braiding Sweetgrass" has an excellent chapter on the author struggling against nature to maintain her pond. Fascinating how these everything has a life cycle, even things we don't consider living.
