I like that you did the random book choice. I've read Wolf by Wolf and Blood For Blood, and enjoyed both a lot. My tbrs have not shrunk yet. There is always a ton I want to read. I am going to be trying Spy × Family, from your recommendation. Hopefully my brain will be able to switch easily for the format. 😀

I am currently reading Wolf by Wolf. It’s also not something I typically pick up but I am enjoying it. I will probably pick up the sequel Blood for blood when I’m done. I think the other two books listed in the series are just short novellas.

I'm definitely choosing an Agatha Christie for August because I wanted to read at least one Christie a month, but I've skipped a couple of times. I like the idea of picking just a few books so that you have plenty of space for mood reading. I think I'll do that this month as well.

I’m doing the exact same thing. Just continuing some current things and just enjoying what I’m in the mood for. I definitely want to stop gobbling again and simmer. 😂 I consciously do that sometimes. The only scheduled read is the Body Part prompt 😂! ♥️

I'm very curious to hear what you think of Steelheart. I'm only picking out a couple books at a time right now, so the only books I know I'll be reading in August are Merlin: The Lost Years by T. A. Barron and The Emerald Atlas by John Stephens.

For the month of August I’m going to be trying Fire & Ash by Gillian Brontë Adam’s, and would LOVE to read The ABC Murders by Agatha Christie. I just finished The Mysterious Affair at Styles and it was so so good!!!
