You asked such great questions. This was an insightful interview. Sam's confidence on achieving AGI is astonishing. Also I never thought of how AGI should be actually distributed among countries. So thanks for bringing up that part up from Sam. Will think more about that.

Great interview Nicolai. I really enjoyed the way you let your guest speak without interrupting him. I saw you in a podcast last week and I have been hooked ever since. Keep up the great work, and greetings from Kristiansand!

How does this have so few views? At first I was checking to make sure it wasn't an AI-generated Sam.

Norges probably own %1-3 of google. I think it is time for youtube to do a favour to major stakeholder and make this channel promoted way more free of charge just because Nicolai is doing real community work with his interviews.

Awesome as usual

Very well done. Great questions and even after so many interviews done by Sam Altman there was some nice bits of information here .

More investment managers like you should do more podcasts and ask questions that matter

These are really good questions. It's a breath of fresh air and wish other interviewers had a similar line of questioning.

Host does an amazing job to draw out the truth from the interviewee. Really insightful and amazing to watch. I’ve watched 3 interviews of Sam and finally get a sense of who he is.

Several super useful insights. About research in Silicon Valley. About decision making. About Sam “super powers”. About what he reads. Loved his thoughts about fusion

I read the Beginning of Infinity by David Deutsch while traveling around New Zealand and it inspired me to pursue a CS degree and become a software engineer. Great book!

Best use of time: listen to this excellent conversation. To see someone so smart be so humble it's inspiring. Sam reminds me a lot of Bill Gates. AGI and Fusion -- > UBI? Only if we force governments to invest taxes instead of SPENDING them. Fusion will be invented long before that happens, I fear! 😅

Great interview, inspirational.
David Deutsch - I started typing 'D" in search and the AI in my phone filled in his name. I was thinking that he is the author of 'The Beginning of Infinity". The AI in this phone is pretty smart. Just the letter 'D" provided the answer to the question I hadn't yet asked in response to dialogue in the video

48:00 "It's the most inspiring... You can do anything, you can solve any problem, and it's important to go and do that." >
That's _exactly_ the point of Yudkowsky's HPMOR! So many people brush it off as "another Harry Potter fanfiction for girls", but honestly, I saw in it the Faustian Spirit of Yuri Gagarin. These people chosen as AI company CEOs seem like a cool bunch, even though ideologically we may be different. - Adûnâi
