In CA the homeless get free food and services delivered to their free tents. About once a month the cities force them to move temporarily to clean up after them so they can move back into a clean environment. It's no mystery why there are more homeless in CA. Homelessness occurs where it's tolerated. It's the classic bird feeder story. If you put out a bird feeder more birds will keep showing up. If you take away the feeder the birds disappear. No need to spend billions studying this problem.

Government invested capital to homeless to rebuild their life. Some of the homless may have the skill of a restaurant chef, a pipe or builder of home or some engineers. Give them a chance to build their new home or give more current education to continue as a skillful people to become parts of the community and society. That can bring them back to a normal life and have à new home in the new life.

As we say in Texas, the homeless live on the dead road? The roads that dead end to the beaches. The rest live under freeway overpasses. In the future, homelessness in Texas will increase dramatically in the next year. With 71% of caravans of illegals being dropped off in Houston and will not be able to afford in public housing. I've worked all over Houston in the multi family housing, and it you find a one bedroom for $1200 monthly, you will find yourself in a more violent neighborhood. I've lived in Texas for 40 years because it has gotten so violent that it's no longer worth driving to a job. So I'm actually sitting here packing to leave Texas. It's safer in the woods with the bears than in the concrete jungle
