Lucinda Berry is one of my favourite thriller writers so I'll definitely have to check out Chevy Stephens' books. I'm really looking forward to reading Jackal ☺

I'm so glad you loved The Dead Romantics too! It really got me emotional in a way I haven't experienced with a book in a while, and I thought it was also very clever.

The Dead Romantics looks super appealing to me. I’m also not much of a romance reader, because I often feel the stories themselves just aren’t that good?! Looking forward to this one. 😊

Glad you spoke about House of Hunger…I too felt like The Year of the Witching was missing something and it made me feel a bit hesitant about picking up the author’s next book but now I think I’ll give it a try!

Man I feel like Nov was like five days long! 😆 It went by so fast for me. I thought I didn't read that much but when I went back and looked I read eleven books. haha. I just finished The Family Game the other day. I thought it was a very slow start but I did end up enjoying it.

I haven’t read anything after the Slaughter Fest Readathon (busy days 😂), but reading We Spread carried the entire month. I love how meaningful it is, pointing that two heck, multiple things can be true and false at the same time. And how our minds and how not knowing other people’s thoughts creates its own horrors.

Will most likely read The Between.

I'm so excited to hear your thoughts about The Dead Romantics, I saw that you gave it 5 stars on goodreads! I am 40 pages in and really enjoying it so far! 😍

House of Hunger sounds like it takes inspiration from the story of the Countess Elizabeth Báthory! I was obsessed with her when I was in middle school so I'm intrigued to read a novel with a somewhat similar story.

i am a very big mood reader and mostly pick up books that have high raitings ( that i am also interested in ) so i am mostly ( mostly, not always ) reading books that i really really love and in november i read 1: dark matter by blake crouch ( 5 stars) 2: keep it in the family by john marrs ( 5 stars) 3: it starts with us by colleen hoover( 5 stars) 4: on a quiet street by: seraphina nova glass ( 5 stars) and 5: never lie by freida Mcfadden ( 4 stars) so a pretty good reading month

Was The Lies I Tell a thriller? To me it felt more like a contemporary novel with a revenge subplot than a straight up thriller. Definitely not a mystery tho lmao

I like B.A. Paris’s writing style, but The Prisoner really really irked me with how the final half seemed to follow a set plot that the characters were just being dragged through.
