**reshade effects can only be captured with external screenshot software!!**

This is my comprehensive guide to my usage of the post-processing software Reshade within Cyberpunk 2077 for Virtual Photography.
The tools I fully dive into are Cinematic Depth of Field and Real Long Exposure. These are the tools that I use almost exclusively in my portraiture!
I hope you find this useful and maybe try out some photos!

Amazing tutorial! Reshade can seem really overwhelming with all the possible tools when you first use it and this really helps getting people familiar with it.

This tutorial is so needed, thank you. The unrecord and photorealist guys do a terrible job explaining the basics.

Great tutorial, although I learned most of it on my own.

If there are things where I struggle the most, it's probably the lighting mods, like CharLi or lights spawned by AMM, or the paid Reshade (that I forgot the name of....). For example, I can get the key and fill lights in he scene just fine with CharLi, but the rim light is still a mystery to me and I can't achieve the effect I'm looking for, without spilling the light everywhere.
A tutorial on where to place and how to set the intensity, size and type of lights to achieve basic 3-point lighting would be awesome!

I recommend using the Addon version of Reshade for Cyberpunk, as it allows you to use plugins like the amazing IGCS Connector/Depth of Field by Otis_Inf.
This DOF effect works differently than Screen-space DOF Shaders by using multisampling/accumulation, like Real Long Exposure, resulting in a "physically accurate"/artifact free DOF effect, that even works with transparent elements like Glass or particle effects like rain!

I highly recommend checking it out if you get the chance.

I found out the hard way after a good 20 minutes of setting up a shot that reshade isn't captured by the in-game screenshot button lol, and this kinda bums me out because otherwise I cant really use path tracing as my rig isn't nearly powerful enough to have it on during the entire process. I mean its possible but my game runs at about 15 fps when I do. I think that if I'm committed enough I could get it done though

Greetings! Amazing tutorial! I have a newbie question. Have you come across mods that allow you to use image overlay (to combine the perspective of a finished real photo and a game screenshot)?

How do i get back to the normal presets before using re-shade?
Do i need to delete re-shade?

Amazing tutorial, I do have one problem though whenever I enable any effect in reshade it seem like the bloom effect in my game gets put on overdrive any idea how to fix this

Everytime I take a photo in photomode the cinematicdof wont show up on the photo. I can see it on my screen. But not in the photo. Do you know why?

How are you keeping the shot outside of photomode as I notice your keep toggling it on/off?

For some reason, when I have "use auto focus" selected, nothing happens. I drag and adjust all the various setting, and no focus change occurs. It's only when I toggle "use auto focus" off, changes start to happen when I change the settings. Did I miss something? Can anyone suggest how I can get it working with "use auto focus" toggled on? Thanks
