Posting a video like this is a great way to get a lot of advice on how to do it.

anyone else see in the new box, the ground is near the neutral area on the left side. That could be bad

If you look as he putting the outlets in. The one on the left, the ground wire look very close to the side wiring screws. If the outlet moves just right it might cause problems later

Looks good, but remember to always tuck that bare ground first to the very back of the box. In your vid, it was practically touching the Neutral there.

I love how your grounds are laying on the neutral terminals

Never use a basic outlet tester to confirm that the power is off. No lights could mean no power but its also clearly labeled on the tester that no lights also mean open hot. ALWAYS confirm with a voltage tester.

Electrical tape around the perimeter of the outlets is what I always do just to prevent any contact with bare wires. An old commercial electric practice.

Yo you need sheathing inside the box just so you know at least 1/4 in by code and it’s also good practice it’ll give those little clip connectors something to grab onto

US wiring is so different to NZ... I feel like it's what we used to do a looong time ago! We remove and rewire bare earth cable, and use stranded copper for our power circuits!

If the ground touches the neutral all it will trip the afci breaker, up in Canada (bc at least) anytime we modify a plug circuit we need to bring it up to modern code

Sometimes outlets are split, with one half always on and the other half switched. Always check both sides of the outlet before believing that the power is out.

Just a tip on those wago’s. The lever with the writing on it should be used for the incoming power, that port has a test terminal spot on the other side for easily testing the circuit for power. Makes troubleshooting easier.

One of your grounds was covered in paint. It's not going to get a solid connection. I use a wire wheel on a drill to clean them up in that situation. Sometimes you can't trim enough back to use fresh.

Don’t forget to clip those ears for old work boxes

Might want to check both plugs for power when you turn that breaker off. Though rare sometimes a receptacle can be two separate circuits. You go grabbing that second hot thinking it’s a daisy chain and get lit up😅

Ground wire on the left side of the left recep looks awfully close to the neutral terminals. Might make a situation where the ground is current carrying

I'm not an electrician, and I spotted a number of things wrong with this.

Why did you switch from decora to the old style receptacles

Curious about the application of a 2-gang 4-outlet set up.
