Creation Museum in Kentucky. Is it worth it?

We had the chance to visit this unique place in 2019. The whole tour was about 3 hours and had a variety of things to read and exhibits to see. We actually enjoyed walking through.
We undersand not everyone believes in the #Creation aspects from the Bible but looking at all aspects is a good thing to see. So if you are looking at visiting the #CreationMuseum don't be in a big hurry because it seemed to be fairly busy.

Wouldn't all the herbivores be eaten up by the carnivores within weeks of getting off the ark if only two of each survived? I'm no ecologist but I think herbivore populations need to be vastly larger than carnivore populations in order for the system to be stable. There simply wouldn't be enough food for the carnivores to survive. For that matter, I don't know many plants that could survive being completely submerged for over a year, so there probably wouldn't be much food for the herbivores either.

I used to believe this stuff. My parents even brought me to this museum. But now that I'm older I can apply logic and question the things that were spoonfed to me as a child.

Honestly, why does any of this matter? What matters is how we live our lives right now. Jesus said we were to love each other. We are told to do to others as we would have them do to us. Let's all really work on that. It will be a much better world.

This is not how most American Christians behave or believe. Just like any religion anywhere, some interpret their texts in different forms, often extreme forms. Please don’t get the wrong idea or judge a group of generalized people like Americans or Christians based off of this.

The problem arises when mythology is thought/taught of, as absolute truth. The problem is when children are taught mythology as truth or fact. When people are lied to from birth, how can they tell truth from falsehood? I feel so sorry for such people however at some point in everyone’s life comes a time when they themselves are responsible for looking at opposing points of view and evaluating same on the objective evidence available.

The closest thing this side of heaven to experiencing the real thing through this rendition of what it must have been like to actually have been aboard the ark. The fact that this is even allowed to call itself a “museum” is frightening. And the fact that y’all go through there thinking this is anywhere NEAR factual...please educate yourselves.

In reference to your description box: no, all aspects are not worthy of respect and consideration. There is fact and there is fiction. This creation myth is fiction and does not deserve any respect or consideration. It’s incorrect and harmful.
