As a Bills fan this year just feels so much different from other years in a good way

Bills fans that pay attention to games were in no way sad to see gabe davis leave the team, i almost feel bad that the jags chose to pay him. His couple big games do not offset the disappointing wrong turns, fall downs and stone hands that would often show up.

One repeating term I keep hearing from the team, and especially Josh Allen is "Freedom".

Coaching is letting Josh run the offense and make major decisions. The loss of Diggs means JA is free to target whoever and spread the ball evenly without forcing it to Diggs. Mental health freedom, being in a much better relationship and now engaged. Financial freedom, making more money with the newly restructured contract. Being so far ahead in the division standings, and now clinching the division, allows them to play much much much freer. This year as suppose to be a "down" year, so really they're playing with house money at the moment.

All things combined make a huge difference. A stressed, constrained JA leads to bad decisions and constant "hero ball" from him. Sometimes it works out, but other times not so much. It's so nice to Josh go out there and just have fun.

However, this Bills team isn't all perfect. The Bills are a momentum team. If they find their rhythm, and they get going, it's hard to stop that ball from rolling. However, if you get in their head, and shut them down a few times, their offense and defense can suffer. Penalties and self inflicted wounds quickly pile up, and they fall behind. That's something they still need to take care of, because the playoffs really highlight that specific weakness. You cannot get away with all those self inflicted wounds. Those little papercuts bleed so much more in the playoffs. But... I think this bit of freedom the Bills found, could be their bandaid to help them get further than ever before.

As a Bills fan since "1990" all great teams go through roster resets, but the most important thing a team must have to survive a "roster rest" are #1 competent GM and Coach, and #2 a stud QB.

And Josh had a “rocky season” just cuz he had more INTs than usual? He still finished with THE most total TDs and (id have to double check) top 2 or 3 in total yards… he accounted for a greater % of his offenses scoring than ANY player in the league! He literally scored like 87% of ALL TDs, Lamar was somewhere in the 50’s or at best 60’s… and was aided by an insanely tough defense. Josh had to literally do everything himself, while also trying to force feed Diggs the ball and play w guys who couldn’t catch a football to save their friggin lives, and he STILL led his team to the two seed. AND he did it all playing thru an AC sprain (tear) in his freaking throwing shoulder since literally week 6… but since he never whined about it nobody in sports media ever mentioned how truly remarkable that was, and how it didn’t stop him from scoring the most total TDs in the league and near top in total yards. Burrow sprains a calf muscle in July and analysts are blaming it for his poor play 4 weeks into the regular season 🙄 Josh gets so much hate that it’s actually kinda absurd. Pretty unfair take on Josh imo, I honestly think you should stop jumping on every national narrative and actually research the team and players if you really wanna do a fair analysis video… jmo

As a bills fan this looks like the best bills team weve ever had since allen came into the league but im very nervous for the playoffs. Something tells me well he against the chiefs in the afc championship again and we still have yet to beat them when it matters

What you’re failing to recognize, is that the Bills paid over 30 mil just to unload Diggs to IMPROVE the offense, cuz he was dictating the O and refusing to allow them to adapt with rest of the NFL as defenses adjusted to pass heavy offenses. And, btw, productive regular seasons yes, but Diggs didn’t do a damn thing in the post season since ‘20 season… that was literally the last time he scored a TD in the playoffs, and Josh just made Gabe look like a much better WR than he is, he was never WR2 material, WR3 or 4 at best (as we’re seeing now). Josh played reckless cuz Diggs insisted on not changing the offense to a balanced run attack, and always tried to force him the ball to keep him happy so he didn’t trash him, leak to the media, or have his brother do it, and it hurt the team greatly. Notice how after Dorsey was fired (who always appeased diggs), Brady stepped in and stressed the team and getting other players involved and Diggs snaps dropped DRAMATICALLY immediately, and guess what, we started winning. We did lose to Kc, but to be fair, we were missing literally half of all our defensive starters and backups, we had to a call LB off the couch to come play in a playoff game, and it still went to the wire. Diggs had a bunch of drops last season, including that huge one in the playoffs that could’ve changed the game, and every year by the time playoffs came he seemed to run outta fuel. Diggs was holding us back, not vice versa, that’s what you failed to recognize… despite Josh playing much freer and better since unloading that toxic presence.

Diggs is a big baby. Imagine if he was a good teammate like all of the guys Allen is throwing to now. Of course Diggs got all those catches. He was force fed to keep him happy. When Diggs was pulled from the game plan last year, the Bills won the rest of their games.
