AACC-ACMG-AMP-APC Webinar: Regulation of Laboratory Developed Tests – Module 1: Background on LDTs

On October 26th 2021 the American Association for Clinical Chemistry (AACC), the American College of Medical Genetics and Genomics (ACMG), the Association for Molecular Pathology (AMP), and the Association of Pathology Chairs (APC) hosted a joint webinar on The Regulatory Landscape of Laboratory Developed Testing Procedures: How we got here, why it’s important, where we’re going, and how you can get involved. A series of four talks covered the current regulatory process, proposed changes, and the potential impact such changes may have on the clinical laboratory’s ability to continue performing safe, life-saving laboratory developed testing procedures.
