Started this series on the PS2 and played all of them since. Mana Khemia 2 is still my favorite of all time

All of the atelier games in one collection would be nice.

I started with Rorona and was immediately hooked. It was unlike any RPG I'd played before but I loved it. I got every game after that, including the Plus versions for the Vita and the New Atelier Rorona for PS3. I also bought Atelier Iris 1 and 2 second-hand and got Mana Khemia on my Vita. This series is just the perfect way to relax! Still waiting on that Atelier Warriors game that just needs to happen :D

Yep, Rorona was my entry game. Haven't missed a game since. For me atelier series is just perfect relaxation after work. Crafting + cute girls adventures, what else do you need?

I discovered the Atelier series through Gust's other games (Ar Tonelico) but my first proper entry was Atelier Rorona (which I enjoyed) and I also went back and played Mana Khemia (which I LOVED). Just so glad Gust is still alive and making beautiful games and soundtracks >___<

Technically started with Annie, but I didn't get very far in it. Unlike Rorona which followed, and that I avidly finished. Initially, I thought the series to be lightweight RPGs without substance, but the intricacies of an ever evolving crafting system drew me in. At this point, my favorite is a toss-up between Atelier Meruru and Atelier Escha & Logy.

Seeing stories and worlds evolve within a series, gameplay mature, characters grow, it's always a delight that keeps me going back. And I still don't understand why more games don't add a sound test with commentary from the composers like these games do. Such a neat feature, given how the music is part of the atmosphere...

Here's to twenty more years of captivating worlds, fascinating characters, and engaging gameplay!

For me I had Atelier Iris on PS2 but I didn't get back into the series until Escha and Logy. Ever since I've gotten every American release without fail. I love the series I only wish there were more boy alchemist protagonist just to mix up some character tropes a little.(Example Logy) Also I wish they would reuse some scenarios like school or developing a business or a kingdoms to see tangible results of our work. (Example Meruru) That just me though love the series all the same. Also dub and release all japan games on steam and play station store!

For me, Atelier had always been one of those series that kept popping up in passing when talking about JRPGs, but it was not until a few years back when I really began to keep my eye out for the series, in case there would be an opportune moment to jump in. I do remember having my sights on some of the games from Atelier's Dusk series for PS3, but since my preferences had been shifting towards PC, I never ended up buying any of them.

And my passive wishes were finally answered when the series jumped on Steam, which naturally made me choose Atelier Sophie as my starting point. My impressions? Well, I think it's a pretty nice game. Not the best I've ever played, but most definitely not the worst either. Though if I have to bring up something in particular, it would definitely be the character arcs, I've really enjoyed seeing the cast's stories unfold. And once I've finished Sophie, I think I'll definitely follow up with Firis. Now that I've set out on this surprisingly charming journey of Mysterious, it would be a shame to not see it through. ;)

This series is the only one game with anime looking chara but still can maintain their 2D image perfectly instead seek for over realness 3D model. idk why many people like ToB with such "generic" and "3*star gacha" looking chara (unlike atelier of course) and now atelier is on pc will gonna make more fan of this series to compete them. Maybe optimising game to pc is still not that "well" but its good start. Anyway under many mainstream jrpg who are like big shadow, atelier series in 20th birthday can rise as hidden treasure :)

More like celebrating 20 years of cute anime girls doing cute things:3 The Atelier games are full of cute anime girls, speaking only about the main characters my favorites would be the cute Totori, Meruru, Shalotte and Sophie.
