SHARP GF-9191 INTRODUCTION & REVIEW

A review and introduction of one of my favorite boomboxes, the Sharp GF-9191. This is not a "demo"video where music is played. I record through a built-in camera mic; it would therefore make no sense.

One of the first REAL quality BOOMBOXES with a wonderful warm analogue sound. And phono jacks. And despite it being 42 years old. Its easier to restore than alot of more complex models that came later. To me its the best boombox ever made.

I will always use it.

Thanks for this video. At 15.58 you're talking about the DC jack - Yes, I have been using this option long time back to connect 12v battery cell (similar to the 12v battery you have in the modern cars or bikes) Good old memories. I wish if someone could help me get this restored to original condition..!

Loosening the cassettedoor is also very nice for cleaning the play-head.. ((you forgot to mention..) :)

Is that really possible to connect 3.5mm jack by a smartphone jack? Phone ear jack ic's won't blow are u sure.
