Love the anti-war message, the lyrics still have a powerful message today. Def Leppard is one of the best bands.

One of the best songs from def Leppard! 35 years later and I still feel the goosebumps whenever I listen to it.

Perhaps the best anti-war song that folks don’t know enough about. I don’t think this was ever released as a single off that album, which is kind of a crime.

Such a song, gets me thinking not all the time as I like to feel my mind with happy thoughts but with all the mess around us right now, it just makes me think enough with all this already all the hatred and evil in this world 🌎.

On a school trip to San Diego, I jammed the Hysteria album all the way there. Forever known to me as San Diego music

One of the great 80's Metal songs about the then imminent threat about nuclear war together with songs such as Bloodstone by Judas Priest, 2 Minutes To Midnight by Iron Maiden, Killer of Giants by Ozzy Osbourne, Fight Fire With Fire by Metallica, Powersurge by Overkill, China White by Scorpions...the list goes on.

Okay that bass line

I’m gonna keep shouting from the rooftop how underrated of a bassist Rick Savage is.

It's pretty obvious this song was written early on; it has the feel of one from Pyromania. Also, the chorus does not appear until 3:21, exactly the same time as Journey's Don't Stop Believin'...although this song is a couple minutes longer. :)
