Love how Guzzlord screaming and Kartana speaking backwards aren't the only references to the anime. There's also Xurkitree and Blacephalon having a duel of flashiness, and Pheromosa running in circles before attacking

I love how Buzzwole turned super buff and then became All-Might's weakened form. Also Kartana went complete Jetstream Sam on every single one of his victims, and it was awesome!

2:48-2:56 has to be my favorite scene. Not only is Blacephalon just putting on a fireworks show for these miltank, in contrast to the fact that ultra beasts are usually, violent, but also there’s a meme!

I love how since the battle was smaller, it allowed for a lot more details and references like the rivalry between clown and wires, stackastack being triggered by people on top of it, along with the B sword one’s unstoppable slicing ability which were all expressed in the anime!
