True. Statistically, the Philippines is safer than both the United States and Canada, as well as many European countries. I don’t know why so many of us are paranoid about safety when we first come here. I have found no reason to worry about my safety here, but of course I still lock my doors and like having my dog going everywhere with me. Even in the safest place, you can never be too safe.

That is so true no one carry their helmets while roaming around the mall for hours they just leave it outside. There is brotherhood among those drivers you take care of I’ll take care of you we take care with each other how wonderful

Yup some places are safe but dont let your guard down. Safety first is the best rule.

In America even if you hide the helmet and key, they will pull up with a van and take the entire motorbike. Speaking from experience as a victim.

The Philippines is so safe it’s surreal. Also speaking from experience as an expat.

Depends on where that is in the Philippines and most don’t even use the Helmets just have them along so they don’t get tickets. Inconsistencies are the Norm over here.

Always take extra precaution. Even brooms, slippers, etc. are stolen even if it's inside your backyard.

Not in Metro Manila apparently 😅 coz i still see people carrying their helmets like a handbag. But absolutely agree. Especially in the provinces. Much much safer

It's really cool! Maybe it depends where it is, maybe not in big cities like some cities in Manila . My friend from Davao told me that even if you leave your phone outside no one will steal it. People there are more disciplined and it's very safe . People are scared to do something bad or Duterte will skin them alive 😅

It depends where you are in the Philippines, in Manila if you leave stuff in your car back in the 80s people would break and take everything, I remember we left our backpack full of toys and sweatshirts in the car and when we got back from the mall everything was gone, even our pullout car stereo. Anyways it just depends where you are in any place. The countryside or rural area is way safer to live at.
