Holy crap this actually worked. I just bought mine, Ran it for 20 minutes and tried to run my AC on my camper with it but it kept stalling out and giving me an overload light. I took off the spark arrestor and it doesn’t stall out anymore. Thank you!

Thank you!! This worked for me! For those with this problem, Don’t put the screen back in until you get it started. Mine was so backed up that even after I cleaned the screen it would not start. So I took the clean screen back out, and it backfired VERY LOUD, then started on the next pull!

Thanks for the video. It got me going in the right direction and the a/c would not trip the breaker when I took this off. It ran great up until recently and got me thinking that it's probably a tight exhaust valve. Turns out that was my issue. My gen has just over 400 hours and the valves should be checked at 300 hours. This will work in a pinch, but check your valves before you cause damage.

Brand new 3500 model. Has probably run a total of five minutes without any connection to power. However, what hooked up it caused flickering of lights? There was no way we were maxing out the wattage. Any thoughts? It was flickering an LED.

I have this issue three times now I take it off and clean it with brake cleaner and put it back on because that's the spark arrestor your inverter will spit out fire and sparks

That Item is called a Spark Arrestor, it's to Prevent Forest Fires 🔥🏕️ please Clean the Spark Arrestor Screen, then, once Cleaned and Reinstalled Smokey the Bear will Salute you for being a Good Person!
