I am from Central Ohio. Work is the same. Supply house leaves packages on the dock. Client contacts are harder to get hold of. The heavy rain for the last week is generating calls also.

Rick. A lot of restaurants tried doing the pick up -to go thing. There was not enough business, so many of them have thrown the towel in until the dust settles. There’s no way CA reopens to normal April 7 or April 19 for so cal. By then there will be so many cases it will become an extension or a real lock down order.

Speaking as an electrician, wiring the disconnects that way should be fine if the fuses are sized right. The main disconnect should have much larger fuses (wiring size permitting), with the fuses in the disconnects for the individual units being sized smaller. That way discrimination is met, so a fuse blowing on the disconnect feeding the unit won't blow the fuses on the main supply.

1st week of lockdown here in Paris, France .
We technicians have been banned from the office for about 2 weeks prior already . But we were still going everywhere like normal with no precautions or special PPEs or anything, I guess it was ok for us to get sick as long as we didn't bring it back to the suits at the office 😆.
On another note, are you gonna replace your Testos for the new Fieldpiece Sman ? They look super nice but they're probably quite expensive though .
Like I said, I'm startimg to think that the way to go is Analogs when you need manifolds, and Smart probes for troubleshooting .
I've been fooled by the bloody digital gauges when nitrogen pressure testing, thinking Inwas loosing pressure when in fact it was the bloody gauges loosing its calibration, even though I did zero them out before hooking them up !

I’m in NW New Mexico. We had to change hours of operation and reduce administrative office hours. Field techs and sales are to report to jobs from home and we are only allowed back to the office for parts or fabrication. Only one individual was laid off. Keep safe out there.

Good Job. If was my business, I would have all the old unused, bad equipment dismantled and removed. Guess dont need the space? Or can't afford to have removed and hauled off?

Nice job on that carry handle! When I first saw it, I thought, _"awe, he broke down and bought a new one!"_ That looks factory made Rick! I didn't need to see the welds on the back! 😉 Very nice; no rust on the hands, no rust anywhere! Really well done.
Hope the 550 isn't too sick. Maybe just needs a good spray of contact cleaner?

Worst gauges I ever own, I used them maybe 15 times before they started leaking, I also bought the testo multimeter, also a piece of crap. Put batteries and maybe a month later done, just from being in my tool bag. The testo probes are ok.

Louisville, business as usual nothing has changed, but the weather. We PM some schools. With them being shutdown we can work peacefully in there.
