Lucas was honestly one of the best character this season imo. His story made total sense to me and christ, Caleb's acting at the finale was completely incredible.

I love that they finally used Sadie to the best of her ability in this season. She gave such a captivating performance, and I won't be surprised if she eventually becomes an Emmy or Oscar winner!

Argyle actually had some big moments like when he picked the boys up when the agents got shot and even using the pen to help mike realize why the agent gave them the pen

Steve has one the best character arcs ever in my opinion, to see him go from the popular jerk character to the lovable and brave dork who will always put the kids safety first has been amazing. The only thing I didn’t like about S4 was this stupid love triangle with Nancy coming back. Steve said he was fully over Nancy in S3 and they barely interacted so to see her eyeing him up again and Steve saying he still loves her just felt like such a backwards moment for both of them.

Apparently the Duffers do pay attention to audience’s reactions and since I’ve seen a lot of fellow hate for this awful love triangle hopefully they’ll drop it in S5. I want to know more about Will’s connection to the UD, why he was taken in the first place and if he has powers of his own. I don’t want it to randomly keep jumping back to Nancy with the cliche ‘who will she pick?’ trope. Nancy’s love life is NOT that interesting and shouldn’t be that important, just keep her with Jonathan and leave it at that.

So the Mindflayer is Vecna and vice versa. That shocked the hell out of me since the puppet is really his superior form. Also back in season 2, the demo dogs knew the ENTIRE LAB since Henry worked as Peter which is crazy. Lastly when 001 used his powers, you hear the Eldritch psychic energy he uses as the Mindflayer as well since he basically used it in the Creel house. Best series I’ve seen.

Edit: Also I think the clouds aren’t sentient but I believe it is the reason why the boulders in the Veil of Shadows are able to float. When Henry shaped and became the Mindflayer, he had full control to flay every being in the Upside Down.

Honestly I really liked that they had Lucas try to be a jock and popular, out of all the kids he'd probably would be the one to be the most successful if trying to be popular and also the one who would want to be. It made sense for his character. If you're bullied all of your life, wouldn't you contemplate trying to be "normal?"

I agree with the Suzie thing. I need it in season 5. I just want at least a kiss scene between them. You know they have an excited fluffy reunion with kiss.

Johnathan’s total character change during season 4 was CRIMINAL. I hope he has a redemption or the writers remind the audience just how great Johnathan really is; just like he was in the first two seasons of Stranger Things. He was part of what sold the show to so many people (along with Joyce) in the first season, so i’m hoping he makes it into the spotlight for season five.

Lucas was easily one of the best of the best. His motivations to being popular is very valid especially at that age. Not to mention, he's been bullied or put down in ways the other boys can't relate to i.e Racism. So him trying to find a way to popular makes sense. From the group's perspective I understand not liking it but from a viewers perspective, it makes sense. Also Caleb's acting was top tier only below to Max's.

Max is my favorite and has been since the first 5 minutes she appeared in Season 2. I now pride myself on being an og Max lover and not a person that just started to love her after season 4

I think Lucas would be an emotion wreck in season 5 if Erica died in the finale because Erica is closer to Lucas then Max because Erica is his little sister and more important (not saying that max isn’t important to him)
