The tiger striped bay mustang is hands down my favorite horse in the game. Pound for pound the best horse. My opinion of course.

Dunno if you've covered it, but there's also that Andalusian up by the falls where you do the last gunslinger duel up near the waterfall. Has really high health and is light beige.

It’s funny bc you can get the first horse from the bandits in new Austin. They’re usually riding those and the black standardbred.

Why do people lasso horses? Don't you all know it's WAY easier and faster (and you even get a better bond) if you just walk up to it and calm it before you jump on? Seriously, I tame wild horses all the time... never once ever lassoed one. Just keep "spamming" the "calm" button and they won't run away or buck you off.

Well I wouldn’t be ignoring them if i could keep more than 4 damn horses at a time in this game lol. I constantly see something like a blood bay or a few spotted that i want, but I currently already have my Arabian, Shire, Andalusian and Murfree brood horse

i think my favorite horse is the horse you get to stall in ch 2, hes just so beautiful and its the only one of its kind in-game

Thanks for this one, the TSM has been my favorite in RD0, although they have better stats than in RDR2. I'll fetch one when I get to the Epilogue, thanks to you. That'll be an exception to a self-imposed rule, though: on this playthrough I only use unique horses, like the one from the Adler's barn, the Shire I got from Hosea (awesome to hunt wolves, and does not even throw me down with cougars and panthers if properly handled). I call them Boy/Girl, so every time, Arthur calls them by name :D I had planned to keep Buel for the Epilogue, but I can't resist a Mustang.

If I'm ever doing something like trying to get a horse like spirit in one of my play throughs I always go for the tiger striped mustang since its like a light buckskin

I have never ignored the location of the Tiger Striped Mustang. I spent over 10 hours with Arthur to get this horse.

The American Paint Splashed White is by far the most beautiful horse.

A SUPER QUICK to 1 star bond, put your saddle on newly caught horse, then take it off. Then it will bond for a whistle follow! ❤

Also a good horse and i had almost all the way through my second playthrough was the standard Ardennes, but not the one you buy, i stole mine from a bounty hunter, maybe it was used by the hunters it was a little different from the stable bought one?

Wow I have the second horse I didn’t know she was rare I was thinking of putting her in the stable she gets real skiddish around gators while my secondary horse laughs at them 😂

That Tiger Striped Bay Mustang is a disappointment, to be honest. For a horse you can only find in the very latest stages of the game, it should have had better stats...
I usually get a Blood Bay Thoroughbred from the Heartlands very early on in the game, but by the time I find a Dapple Gray, I usually have a stable full of better horses and just leave it alone. Or I mount it for the compendium then let it go.
I sometimes stumble upon American Standardbred horses near Cumberland Forest or around Strawberry, for some reason. If I see a black one, I can't resist but get it for myself... unless I've already managed to get my hands on the Black Arabian!

For me It's easier to lasso the horse because if an fast horse you can't run.
