Hi! Thank you for watching.

My name is Kamila Malik and I'm a violinist from Poland.
I got challenged by one of my students to play some Lindsey Stirling songs.
That student of mine is a big Lindsey Stirling fan (but the again who isn't these days :D)
This is an amateur studio recording of me playing Take Flight.
We only replaced the camera track with studio track + Lindsey's backtrack.
No additional remastering done.

For a trained ear, it's easy to hear the difference between her and Lindsey: Flawless attacks, pristine vibrato and perfect tempo.
The classical discipline and technique transpires through Kamila's performance.

Kamila, I just found you on YouTube. This is so great. I have always enjoyed Lindsey Stirling and her videos. Your work with this song "Take Flight" is so great, so exact, so professional, so perfect. I want to commend the camera work and the editing of this video. I enjoyed watching you take the violin and produce such beautiful music. when I hear music such as this from Lindsey and now you, a tear comes to my eye because of the beauty and talent that God has given to you both. You certainly have pleased him because you have developed your gift and talents. I will now go back and look for more of your work. I love this cover! Thank you for posting this as I will always be a Lindsey Stirling fan and listen to her music until the day I die but recently one gripe I've started having about her songs are that sometimes the sound effects (dubstep) will start overpowering her violin to the point where her violin just fades into the background as backup vocals. Still like her music but sometimes I listen to her first few years of songs and truly realize how great she is as a violinist and that is enough! Thank you for bringing out the best of her songs and how beautiful her music is even without the crazy beats and sound effects!
