Unfortunately we were not able to see actual gameplay, as this has yet to be shown. We are hopeful to see something at this year's Tokyo Game Show but have no confirmation.

Dragon's Dogma X Monster Hunter X Dark Souls

My heart kind of sank at the co-op part. I'm older, and I don't play online with people anymore. Skyrim and The Witcher were amazing for me because it was just me. From the look of the trailer, that's what it seemed like this was going to be. I truly hope this doesn't turn out like Anthem where you have to go in with a group just to play.

A few things I've noticed back when I first saw the reveal of this game are the overall animations and attacks of both the character and the monster. For starters, the creature is actually constantly staring at the person which adds a sense of believability and immersion to the gameplay. You're not fighting a mechanical robot, you're fighting a living thing that knows where you are and is making sure you're not out of its sight.


Next thing I noticed is the visual hit feedback. When the monster attacks the player, the player gets aggressively pushed back, you rarely see this level of quality in other games. You get pushed back or even slammed onto a wall and that's exactly how you'd expect something like this to go down in real life.


I've also noticed that the slashes of his sword and dodging through the legs looks pretty good as well, similar to something like Monster Hunter where you can attack and then roll between the legs.

Great concept but the answers bother me. Hopefully it doesn't end up in "A little bit of everything, a whole lotta nothing" situation.

Lots of obtuse answers. "Balance" between action and story, which says nothing. Anywhere from 4-12 players, which completely changes what kind of game it is depending on which number it is. Orthodox fantasy, mentions the two most known fantasy titles in the west, where GoT definitely is not high fantasy and on the opposite spectrum of LotR. This couldnt be less specific.

That‘s a good attitude they have. Show only when you have something to show. I like it. Definitely will keep an eye on that game.

Cygames are coming into the console market swinging hard. I can’t wait for this, Granblue Fantasy Relink and Granblue Fantasy Versus.

Project Awakening is definitely going to be an unexpected bombshell when it comes time for it to make an even larger debut within the mainstream eye. I just hope that the quality is something to write home about. God of War styled combat + RPG system + multiplayer co-op + an expansive open world = 🤯🤯🤯🤯
