C’est un peuple fier de bergers qui continuent à pratiquer un estivage long, épuisant et spectaculaire. Ils restent fidèles à des siècles de traditions ainsi qu’à un mode de vie qui remonte au plus profond de la Perse ancienne.

Ces vallées immenses encadrées de montagnes et de glaciers dévoilent une tout autre face de l’Iran.

I am 100% Bakhtiari but born and raised in city. I loved traveling to villages mentioned in this documentary and meeting my distant relatives there. Love the fresh air and meeting nomads who are are much nicer and more hospitable than people in the cities.

Thank you for sharing the beautiful culture of BAKHTIARI. My father and grandfathers were born and raised in that part of the country. Unfortunately I was very very young when I moved to US . The TRUE NOMADS of IRAN! A hard life but a truly Beautiful one! It made me sad when the young man said he liked to dress in Western Clothing😢. I hope and Pray these beautiful People NEVER become extinct! It WILL be Truly sad day if there is No More Nomads left. Their skills passed down through generations is priceless the Outstanding and Beautiful clothing the Ladies make all by hand and tradition these wool coats are magnificent!

I transited IRAN twice (1970) and I have to say these are the most hospitibal people in the world, whethr you were Chritian, Mus;im or Bhuddist--made no differenc to them. They would give you the shirt off their back, if you really needed it! Thesefore, may ALLAH BLESS them!
