Undaunted: Reinforcements - Preview with David Thompson and Trevor Benjamin

David Thompson and Trevor Benjamin, designers of the Undaunted series, join us for a brief preview of what to expect with Undaunted: Reinforcements, coming in August 2021.

Undaunted: Reinforcements is an expansion for Undaunted: Normandy and Undaunted: North Africa, bringing a variety of new units and scenarios to both games, as well as 4-player team battles and solo rules by Dávid Turczi.

Seeing the franchise going and knowing that you are in the playtest phase of a new Undaunted entry, I am VERY excited to see new Undaunted games in Eastern Front and the Pacific. Oh boy, the hype...

I was playing Normandy earlier today and my group was discussing how this was a much needed expansion. We are very excited!

Really great ideas and can’t wait to see how it unfolds. I was thinking what about a engineer? They could possibly build fortifications like a sandbag wall; this could increase the defense of a tile or unit counter. Just an idea. Anyways I love what you guys are up to.

Some random boardgame news site brought this to my attention. 2 years ago I found out about this game at Watch it played. Now with a solo option it becomes more interesting. I will try it out with normandy and if I really like it get the Afrika one too.

This could keep going and going with things like booster packs movable tokens for buildings or cover . Japan China ussr Italy all the other countries like finnland and Eastern European countries

It would have been great it reinforcements came in a bigger box that could fit all 3 games' content. Especially with new card inserts that leave space for sleeves as that is one giant (repeated) flaw in the current insert design!

Cool to get some more information on the expansion! Will you add this as a video on BGG? I wrote a short forum post (not published yet) summarizing what's being discussed, but videos should really be in the Video section (preferably added by the creator).

By the way, as a Dutchman it's nice to see a map of The Netherlands on Trevor's wall :-)

Put Italians on the artwork for the box. It would be much more interesting and accurate than what is there now.
