Humanitarian Crisis in Gaza: Urgent Need for Evacuation Corridors and Lifting of Supply Restrictions

The conflict in Gaza has led to a devastating humanitarian crisis, with over 38,000 people killed, 88,000 injured, and 10,000 missing. Evacuation orders by Israel further threaten the health of those who have already suffered greatly. Over 10,000 patients need urgent medical evacuation, and the entire population of Gaza faces high levels of acute food insecurity, with almost one in four facing starvation. WHO calls for immediate lifting of restrictions on supplies entering Gaza, as the people of Gaza must not be the ones who pay the price for this conflict.
