Hey, gang! Doing my best Robert Stack impression on this one! There is no shortage of these types of places in Ohio, so if you respond well to this 'un, I'll definitely do more! Wanna send a thanks to Audionautix for the permission to use this great music! ENJOY!

I've been to Rogue's Hollow three times in the 90's. Each time scared the hell out of me.

First time, I was introduced to the Witch's House on a corner of two roads (I couldn't tell you which because it was dark and my first time in the area). There was a railroad track that if your car stalled, it would be pushed by the ghosts of kids who died in a schoolbus that was hit by a train on those tracks. There was cry baby bridge--which I did hear that night. There was a church where a lantern was known to bob through the windows (which I also saw that night) and the scariest thing of all that night was getting out of the car across the road from the church and going to the first row of the graveyard. There was a tombstone near the left of that row, and blood began to drip from the top of it.

My second experience was in the daytime. We drove along Galehouse Road, but no matter which way we turned--right, left--whichever, we could NOT get off the road. It was like the road wanted us to stay on it and wasn't letting us go. This happened on the third and final time there as well. I still get goose bumps when I mention that road.

Later in life, I had someone regress me through hypnosis to get to my past life before the I am in now. I very vividly saw my death--under a bridge (highway?) pulled off to the side of the road in a VW Bug murdered by a hitch hiker I picked up in Rogue's Hollow.

The place both fascinates and scares the hell out of me. I'm not sure which of the stories are true there that I've been told, but the personal experiences were real and like you said, "personal" There's something there; I just don't have a clue what.

I grew up in Rittman and visited Rogue's Hollow many times. When I was about 8 or 9, a friend of my mom's took a couple of us kids over to Cry Baby Bridge and we did hear a faint crying or whimpering at that time, and that was back in the late 70's. I took a long 1977 Lincoln Continental down that steep curvy road by Chidester Mill before they closed it off, yeah, that was quite scary because the wheels barely stayed on that one lane road almost straight down. In 2020 at Halloween, me and a friend went over there and drove back into the park by the Mill. We seen a group of people coming out of the woods in masks and cloaks and as I was turning around a couple of them started to bolt towards my car. Well, I tore out of there and didn't want to go back that night.

And my grandmother we called Gomm. Pop and Gomm Pop telling me my brother my cushions stories about Rogue's hollow. Not sure if it was real but even today it makes some fun stories to tell.

Been there. Had a pair of red eyes follow me for 3 months. Everytime I'd look in the mirror they'd be there.
Felt the ghost train too.
