Delighted for Rodrigo Fernandez and for Los Condores 🇨🇱.

Great to see World Rugby shine a spotlight on Tier 2 rugby too. If we want to grow the game around the globe, it can’t just be about the top 10 nations.

Great try! So happy for Rodrigo and for Chile. Can't wait to buy their jersey for the world cup!!! ¡Cachai!

Really cool to see Chile and "Tier 3 Rugby" getting some love ! This Try of the Year award is well deserved even if the Padovani try was really close too.

Wow! If that's the kind of play I can expect from Chile, I'm very excited for their game against Japan today! I love what is happening to world rugby, all these new teams coming up on the radar or some teams making a return back to the world stage.

Vamos !
Great individual try and great to see a non-Tier 1 side get recognised. The Italian try and also very good, but this was an immense individual effort.

For me Padovani was the try of the year given the context of Italy winning in Wales late in the game, . Not sure why Rees Zammit try was included. essentially it was just shift and pass.

3 of the 5 tries came from opponents kicking the ball to the team that scored.

It was like watching England for 70 mins last week.

1:37 clear obstruction, don’t know how world rugby puts in a try that was helped by foul play. Pretty on brand for them this year.

Congrats to the chilian, but to be honest the poor standard of the two teams in that game (i.e no one knew how to tackle ) should have meant that it was not in the final selection. In my opinion the try that Italy scored against Wales was the best one and meant the most as far as a result went.
