I admire Nadal's ability to adjust his game to his older physique. He looks like a very different player, with a much more varied game style and a newly found efficiency in everything he does on court. The volleys are superb too. It's such a smart evolution as a player and a joy to watch.

Nadal is getting brutal by the passing hour with his urge to diversify his game and mould it according to different situations thrown at him.
What a champ, what a player....👍

Nadal …. He has everything about the sport… his difference … his passion for the game and his personality traduced in mindset and undefeated spirit inside the courts

Nadal can dominate the world no 1 whether its 2004 or 2022. Absolutely gold

Nadal is absolute gold. Seems from nowhere to be 35 years old. He can challenge Djokovic on hard if he plays like this. Hoping to see the best out of him in the final. 14-0, Truly Incredible Start for Rafa in 2022...

Rafa on a roll here. Unstoppable at the moment. 14 straight wins to start a season on a Hard Court. Unbeaten till now. 3rd Final in 2022. If he is healthy he will win many titles this season. Next Gen stars are still not good enough to beat him on hard courts regularly so beating Rafa on clay and grass is nearly an impossible task for them. Heavy Favourite for upcoming Grand Slams, French Open, Wimbledon and US Open.

Vamos Rafa

Really impressed with Cam. He must be working so hard in training, because his consistency is just rock solid. I love it.

And Rafa! Wow. This is the best start to a season he has EVER had. Incredible. I wonder how his 2022 will go, considering Roger is out injured, and Novak is likely to miss a few tournaments due to his stance on vaccination. He's got to be looking good for the French; 22 grand slams? Wow. I'm really looking forward to seeing how this year pans out.

Interesting to see the reaction of both players when they lose a point - Medvedev looks back to his team and shrugs as though "someone else played that point, it's not my fault" whereas Rafa walks back to serve, screws up his face a bit, then gets on with the job - NEVER looking back to his team as if to blame them. Rafa is a TRUE CHAMPION! 💜💜

Nadal was unbelievable that first set, and equally so during break/pressure points second set. Unbeatable, and Med didn't even play badly..

Mendvedev: I'm the new World No. 1
Nadal: I don't care.

Tsitsipas needs to sort out his mentality. I can't help but feel like his losses affect him too much. He started to decline after the Murray incident and the hate that he received from tennis fans. Then a painful loss with Alcaraz made it worse and he just stopped playing his best tennis. On AO he seemed to be back in form, but he lost with Daniil and things started to go downhill again. He wants the success so bad that it holds him back. Pressure from the father might be a factor too
