Thank you. I was mourning your absence from YouTube. Videos like this are why you are in my mind the best bow drill teacher there is. Please... keep doing videos like this

A fire needs constant care and attentiveness to keep it dancing. You can't be unresponsive or it will go out on you, and you managed to keep it going in the rain...you're a life saver, sir :)

When I would do that everyone would get mad and say that I was wasting the wood and we would not had any left. Thanks you for all of your work and info and the time you spent making the great videos.

Great video and so good to see something from you! I usually build a one-sided roof over my fire with branches, almost like a lean-to shelter for the fire. With the rain falling on top and cooling the branches you can maintain a fire forever without much effort. A small - medium cooking-fire will never burn the roof-branches if it's raining.
PS: I WANT TO SEE YOU ON THE NEXT SEASON OF ALONE!!!

Knew this tip, but still enjoyed watching. All your vids will help me in my journey into more primitive "bushcraft"... Plan a solo overnighter with limited tools and food sometime in the future. Looking forward to testing myself. You've helped me feel I'm more ready to take upon this challenge. Thanks man. ATB -Nate

The video is good and informative. I think your dog is
"You got your fire. Now make me a shelter!" "Can't lie down. It's all wet".
Hahahahaha.

I wish I could run around in the woods barefoot like you do. Here in Florida, it's a good way to end up dead. Love your videos, keep 'em coming! Kudos to you and all you do!
