My node still synchronizing ..after a month is very slow... I have 2tb stable hard drive, good internet... why is taking so long

Thanks for posting, very informative. Two questions: for the node to run does 1) the laptop have to be switched on 24/7 and 2) does the ethernet cable have to be attached permanently between the Pi & router?

mine won't show secret words! It says "note down your secret words" and the wheel keeps spinning. I tried new formatting and sd and ssd, different browser - it didnt help. what am i doing wrong?

Great tutorial, quick question. Is it mandatory to add bitcoins to the wallet ? I like my BTC secured on a cold storage. Not laying around in a raspberry pi.
If I need to add some, how much ?
