I am just so impressed with the amount of communication to get over 200 people to move together, adjust to situations( the small road and the bus, and other obstacles in the way ) play a instrument, not f**k up... I can't get a family of three on the same page for nothing in my house. hahah

During the 60's when I attended High School, I played in our school's marching band. We admired FAMU's marching style . At the time, our High School Band had the Best Drum line in the state bar none! I also remember years ago, the President of France personally requested FAMU to perform during France's Basitille Day celebration. FAMU was the only marching band from the USA invited to perform.

Omg! So much sophistication, there is something about FAMU that continues to stand out from all other bands. So proud of those men and women. Great job always done!

As a collective, God gave us the greatest equalizers of rhythm, singing, dancing, style, and the undeniable ability to impact culture. Therefore, we cannot be stopped!!!

I was blessed to march for one of the grestest h.s. marching bands in S.C. Our director was a FAMU grad & transformed us into a miniature FAMU in the 80s. We did all of those cadences, and to this very day, when I hear them my feet start moving!

I love how the Flag Corps leads the band. You don't see that a lot...usually the drum majors that lead in, sometimes the dance team.

Yusss!! One of the prides of Tallahassee! They performed a couple weeks ago for the district MPA’s for the HS bands and blew all the kids’ socks off. 🧡💚🧡💚🧡💚

Gives me chills, hearing the beginning cadence aka "1/5" .... Playing that in high school, and adventuring on and becoming a WILDCAT, this Was and Still is my favorite cadence. The mechanism in this cadence is so on point, especially the breakdown at 49 second 😍 when played right, by none other than the "Z", from the 100 💯💪🏾.
Great job 100
Continue to Strike 🐍

Hearing this candance takes me back to high school at Miami Norland. I'm a Wildcat all day but certain things will always stay with me.

I like how at the end when they cut off southern band is warming up but it sounds like before a show fades to black when something dramatic happens or something. Then they just hold the last note out as the camera cuts off. How perfect.
