I think the player who’s turn it is should do the final spin.

They should make that final round always the final spin and have all wheel numbers four digits from $2, 000 to $9500, including one thin "$10, 000 per letter" space. It would be a "last chance at the bonus" round. Also, in the Mystery Round, when the contestant picks the $10, 000 wedge, the other one with the bankrupt is turned up and now that contestant has to avoid a extra bankrupt to win the $10, 000. Or if a contestant picks the bankrupt, then the $10, 000 wedge is also tuned up and the $10, 000 is now up for grabs. They must land on it, pick a letter and solve the puzzle. In the triple toss up, the numbers keep doubling from the two earlier toss ups. First of the three is $4, 000, second is $8, 000 and third is $16, 000. The whole show would become a battle for the bonus round.
