After sorting out my issue with a bad USB cable, I really enjoyed using this charger. This could really be useful if the power goes out for extended periods of time.

Do some research on the product before you put a product review & use less of your own opinion.

One thing to note with the physics of any battery is that the fuller it gets the less power it can consume. So if your phone is dead you might see 2 amp charge rate for a little while. Above 50% 0.5-1amp for some phones would be max charge rate.

some people act like they have never been outside with a phone before....just put your phone under the damn panel itself.

I got mine and I can't get over 0.5 amps either. In direct sun light it should be getting more power. I seen people getting up to 2.8 amps from the sun. You should message them and let them know your not getting over 0.5 amps

I've used this while hicking in Peru, and it worket great. However, most of the non-sponsored reviews say that Anker 21W is THE best option (priced the same). It's half the weight, and it has some abstract Anker technology that apparently makes the most efficient charging. Now, I get that BigBlue would charge better in worst weather conditions. But what else is there? Is there really anything magical that Anker could have that powers the devices more efficiently than BigBlue, or is it just a big brand vs small brand thing? I ask this because there is no comparison on the internet.

Can you let me know how much amps it pumps out when both USB ports are engaged? Does it touches 3amps?

I actually bought a 28W portable solar panel in 2016 and it have 8 panels. I am actually surprised this is 28 W with only 4 panels
