Used the uni knot or sometimes called the grinner knot i have used this knot for over 30 years it's absolutely brilliant never been broken on it yet Jeremy wade said it's the only knot you need to know in fishing i agree you can tie hooks swivels anything that has an eye but it is extremely good for tying 2 lines together mono to mono fluorocarbon to braid this is called the back to back grinner or uni knot as i said i have used this knot for over 30 years fished all over the world had fish to 575 LB on this amazing knot you should try it Adam ALIEN

where was the rebeck knot, the hybrid knot, the double palomar knot, the double improved clinch knot, probably the stronger of any that you showed here?

It's takes a great deal of practice to tie these knots the correct way, the better you tie, the better the knot. I have been using the clinch knot for 3 years with no problems at all. Also the blood knot with no problems. I would like to see you tie the knot on the video.

not to be that guy, just there is a typo in the title, may want to fix that on the DL. Great video

You missed the uni/grinner knot, one of the most popular knots for eyed hooks and swivels. The blood/clinch knot is one I use on weak links only, I wouldn't trust it for anything else. I think you may have cocked up the spade end knot as it's definitely strong than that. That's why you should tie up half a dozen of each, just in case one is a cock up. You've got one too many 't' in turle. At least you found something fishing related while the river is over it's banks.

wasnt a fair test, the longer the line the more its going to take to fail, thats why the blood knot failed so easily..

When testing knot strengths all lines should be same length

I think the string you are using is crap, hard to tell. It should at least break at 6
