as a belgian I can tell you that his move to madrid destroyed him mentally, if you stay at madrid and you retire from international football that's a sign you are full in depression mode, from winner to full loser, it's a shame what he's able to do only for the sake of money.

Just remembering C.Ronaldo's interview with Piers Morgan where he was talking about young players who don't train hard enough will likely not have longevity in their careers.
Eden Hazard at his prime was so good, we were just waiting for him to light it up at R. Madrid. But low work ethic has deprived him of reaching the ceiling of his career in the game, considering his abilities with the ball. Still had a successful career though. Oh, he's not fully retired yet, still having a successful career though.
