I love watching your videos. It’s like watching someone release an actual person who was stuck in a block of wood. Really beautiful.

Wow, what a detailed tutorial! I've always been fascinated by wood carving, and this video really breaks down the process step by step. The instructor's clear explanations and demonstrations make it seem so approachable, even for beginners. Can't wait to give this a try myself!

Thank you so much for this series. I spent most of my free time this week practicing the eyes, nose, and mouth. I've leveled up, and I just received your book today so I can learn more.

Alex, it's great to get fresh air, and outside summer is too short
I'm finding you as a teacher has improved or I've speeded up in my comprehensive skills.
I'm busy, but I'm sure this late fall, things will be better to carve. I'm removing half of the carpet in my sun room that is on the southeast side, so it gets any sun all day. I'll have a great place for carving.
Thanks for teaching and inspiration

Thanks for these, I went back and adjusted a recent carving I did to make the mouth a little better. Happy I didn't paint it yet.

I was gifted a flex cut carvin jack years ago. Now discovering your channel I started a new hobby. These vids on your channel has started me to whittle. Really enjoying it!
Funny request: could you do a vid like this on whittling a skull?

I've got no interest in doing this myself, but really enjoy learning how it's done, and appreciating your skills

I have a question, I'm just getting started. I have a lot of air dried pine will that work for carving and should I soak it to soften it back up. I've really been enjoying your videos.
