Madness described hear. Adding a whole layer of abstraction bcoz of types. How about, just use "strict mode" in JS and use JSDoc which do very well same your solution, and also use AI powered cursor IDE with ESLint addon for debugging. No need for bloated modules, extra compiling steps and extra abstraction that slows large programs. IMO, JS + Node.JS should be improved more on performance side to catch up on harder to learn rust language and improved type quacks in JS.

Agreed, but I don’t think typescript is best, maybe another strongly typed language, and possibly a new one later down the line?
