Absolutely fabulous tutorial. Just bought a Gretsch and a slide and this has got me going 🎶

Thank you very much. I’m suffering thumb problem and I can’t use pick for some month : why not trying play with bottleneck ?

Damned it’s hard, first time bottleneck first Time finger picking, first Time open tuning. But your video with your explaination help me a lot. After two weeks I am still on the basic groove part. It’s hard but I love it :):)

Thank you for that.

Another great video - I'm recently subscribed as a premium member - would recommend to others as for me the tab is essential!

This is exactly what I’ve been looking for from a lesson on slide guitar…I’m just now beginning to learn this style of blues playing and would love to continue to see these type of lessons to progress my slide skills🎸❤

Nice choice of axe. A Honey Dipper has been my main for a few years now. Great instrument.

This was a fantastic lesson. I’m just starting on my slide and resonator journey, I’m mostly used to playing classic rock power chords. I just bought a Gretsch Honey Dipper and it feels totally foreign to me in a good way. I’m looking forward to watching more of your lessons

Quality video, and quality guitar too! Bought a Honey Dipper a few years back second hand, nice to play in the garden over summer.

I would normally always tune to open G, but I really think there is something magic about blues in open E. I think it's my preferred slide tuning now, I love not having to tune the high e string down, always feels so janky in open G

John-- one of your best lessons !! Works for any decent guitar with a strong neck. I am working on this on my Rocket UFO Republic Parlor Resonator..

Resonators are quite fascinating for the sound they produce, blues all the way...great Tuesday blues, thanks John 🎶🎶🎶

Excellent choice on guitars. Those Honey Dippers are some of the best sounding resonators out there. And great lesson for it's debut.
