JVG was talking nonsense when he said he would be OK with one of his players forcefully removing an opposing player that was doing that in one of his huddles. They would get a flagrant or technical if they did so.

If you want to huddle, call timeout and huddle at the bench. Don't take some temporary down time to have a team conference and expect all other opponents to respect your little safe-space. As long as it is play time, a player can stand wherever he wants.

As a player on the court, you have every right to step wherever on that court if it's not a timeout. If a coach comes out onto the floor to coach his players during a non-timeout, then it's totally fine. If you don't want players hearing strategies, call a timeout! Why are ya'll so soft?

It's not a timeout, therefor he's allowed to be there.  It was just a stoppage and Coach S wanted to talk to his players.  Lance is by rule, allowed to be in there and do that
