Summers over but the Llangollen canal gets even busier! [Ep 21]

It's time to cruise back along the Llangollen canal to link with the main network. We have loved our time here but since the kids have gone back to school it's suddenly got a lot busier and this video shows my cruise back along the Pontcysyllte and Chirk aqueducts and the total gridlock we endured at each turn - Better than being stuck on a motorway though!

Whoa, aqueducts, we don't have them here in the USA, and that bit that was chipped off is frightening. But WOW the view back to the aqueduct on your walk to the pub was stupendous!
You are an excellent boat handler. And so courteous even when other people are cranky, and yes when most boaters are just doing their best. Some day I might be renting a narrowboat ... I'll be courteous! And I'm learning from you.
When I bought my second boat (a 40 foot 1939 wood power cruising boat) here in Washington State in the USA, my friend Dave said "don't go any faster than you want to hit something". Great advice!
Yes, here too, if the cows are lying down, it's going to rain. 🙂My cousin was a dairy farmer for all his life and he swore by that. Fun stuff.

The factory making all the smoke is where my daughter works. The smoke is actually steam coming from the wood driers where they manufacture Chipboard and MDF. Cheers Heidi 🍷🥃🙂
